Blotch removal resembles blotch creation.

I have begun to repair the overly-sanded spots by applying a very thin coat off epoxy to them, using a foam brush (which works pretty well -- who knew?). 

Once these cure -- it will take two days -- I can sand them, probably by hand using a sanding block, and, voila, things will look better.

Or worse. I dunno. We'll see!
